# Junify for healthcare: let per-diem clinicians and outside billing staff into patient systems without giving them the password

> Your admin adds each EHR and portal login to Junify. Staff verify on their own phone and click to sign in. They work from a personal laptop without seeing the password, and each use is recorded under their own name.

Staff need only the Junify phone app and browser extension.

## Is this how it works today?

Until now, letting someone use a clinical system meant giving them the login. Now there's another way, but many practices still work like this.

- Per-diem and locum clinicians get the login by phone or text
- Passwords and browsing history sit on staff's own laptops and phones
- Between shifts, those staff can still sign in to the EHR any time
- You can't tell who at your billing company used your accounts
- When someone leaves, you change the password and resend it to everyone

What it costs: A password you've shared can't be taken back. A shared login doesn't record who used it. You can't wipe what's left on a personal device.

## Three steps

Before you start, your admin adds the clinical system logins to Junify and assigns each to the people who may use it. Staff never get the password.

1. **Verify on your phone**: Scan the QR code on screen with the Junify app on your own phone. That's how Junify verifies you, even without an email address.
2. **Click a card to sign in**: Each system you may use appears as a card. Click it and Junify fills in the username and password. You never see them.
3. **Each use is recorded by person**: You verify first, so even a shared login is recorded under your name. Optional recording shows a notice; only you and admins can watch.

Setup is the phone app and the browser extension; your systems don't change. Day to day, it's scan and click.

## What your practice can do after Junify

Four moments: a new hire's first shift, the weeks between shifts, a telehealth visit, and an audit or contract review.

- **A new hire's first shift**: Your admin assigns their cards, and they're in the EHR on day one. They scan and click. Nobody tells them the password.
- **Between shifts**: Remove their assignment and they can't sign in from that moment. Reassign for the next shift. No password to change.
- **During a telehealth visit**: With recording on, you can see on screen who did what if something goes wrong. Recording is lightweight, so calls don't lag.
- **Audit or contract review**: Export a CSV of who used which system, and when. A billing contractor on the same setup is in the same record.

## Where it helps in a medical practice

- **Personal devices stay personal**: Laptops keep browsing history. Junify opens systems in an incognito window, so closing it leaves no password or history.
- **EHRs and portals with only a password**: Any EHR or payer portal with a username-and-password sign-in page works as is. Junify enters authenticator-app codes too.
- **Downloads only where the work needs them**: Allow or block file downloads per account: on for the front office and billing, off for clinical staff who only view charts.
- **Your billing contractor, same steps**: Outside billing staff sign in to your accounts just as your staff do: no password, and each use under their own name.

## From a real deployment

- **Telehealth**: Rotating per-diem physicians use the clinical system on personal devices. They sign in without the password, and you can see who used it and when.

## Frequently asked questions

1. **Do you record screens that show patient information? Who can see them?** Recording lets you check on screen who did what if something goes wrong. The admin turns it on only where needed, staff see a notice first, and only they and your admins can watch.
2. **Will it slow down telehealth visits?** No. It doesn't record video. It saves only the parts of the screen that change, which keeps it light.
3. **Do staff install anything on personal computers? Does anything stay?** Only the Junify browser extension, plus the Junify app on their phone. Cards open in an incognito window, so no password or history stays. Saved files do stay, so you set downloads per account.
4. **Our EHR uses a plain username and password. Will it work?** Yes. Nothing changes on the EHR side and no integration is needed. If two-step codes come from an authenticator app, Junify enters them too. Text and email codes are not supported.
5. **Is it safe to give Junify the passwords to our clinical systems?** Founded in 2016, Junify has served financial institutions and public companies in Japan. Our security program is aligned with the NIST Cybersecurity Framework, and we share security documents for reviews.
6. **Can our outsourced billing team work the same way?** Yes. Their staff use your accounts the same way your own staff do. We already have a practice and its billing contractor running on the same setup.
7. **How much does it cost?** Each plan has a limit on the number of people, and any number up to it costs the same. Prices are fixed monthly amounts in USD. We'll quote a price for your practice's size and systems in the demo.
