# Make someone a group leader

Choose a person to lead one of your groups in Junify.

## When to use this

- When a group needs someone to lead it.
- When you have chosen who will lead a group and want to give them that role.

## Steps

1. Open **User Directory** in the menu on the left. The list of members appears.

2. Open **Groups** at the top of the page.

3. In the list of groups, click the row of the group that needs a leader.

4. On the group's page, group leaders are called supervisors. Click **Add New Supervisor** in the supervisors section.

5. In the list that opens, click the person you want to make the leader. A check mark appears next to them.

6. Click **Save** at the bottom of the window.

7. When a message says that the group has been updated, click **Got It**.

8. Check that the person now appears in the supervisors section.
