# Have the company manage a member's app password

Set a member's login ID and password for an app yourself, so the company manages the account instead of the member.

## When to use this

- When you take over app accounts for your team and want to set the passwords yourself.
- When you do not want the people on your team to know the passwords of the apps they use.

## Steps

1. Open **Applications** in the menu on the left.

2. Open **MANAGE ACCOUNTS** at the top of the page.

3. Click **PER MEMBER ACCOUNT** above the list. The list now shows each member's own accounts.

4. Click the row of the member's account that the company will manage.

5. Click **Account managed by** to open the choice of who manages the account's password.

6. Choose **Company**. The login ID and password fields below can now be filled in.

7. Enter the member's login ID for the app in the field on the left, below **Account managed by**.

8. Enter the account's password in the field to the right of the ID.

9. Click **Update** at the bottom right of the page.

10. Check that **Account managed by** now shows **Company**.

## Things to know

- A member's own account appears under **PER MEMBER ACCOUNT** once the member has a card that gives each person their own account.
