# Turn on session recording for an app

Have Junify record people's screens while they work in an app, so you can watch the work later.

## When to use this

- When work in an important account must be recorded, for example because a contract requires it.
- When you want to be able to look back later at the work done in an app.

## Steps

1. Open **Applications** in the menu on the left.

2. Open **MANAGE APPLICATIONS** at the top of the page.

3. Click the row of the app you want to record in the list. The app's settings page opens.

4. Further down the page, turn on **Session Recording** with the switch at the right end of its row.

5. Click **save changes** at the bottom of the page.

6. Check that **Session Recording** is turned on.

## Things to know

- Each account under the row you opened follows this setting, unless the account has its own.
- If some accounts have their own setting, saving opens a window that asks what to do with those accounts.
- Some apps can't be recorded.
