# Invite a member by phone number

Add a new person to Junify with their mobile number and get a 6-digit code they enter in the Junify app to join.

## When to use this

- When a new person joins your team and does not have a work email address.
- When you would rather help a new person get started in person or over the phone.

## Steps

1. Open **User Directory** in the menu on the left. The list of members appears.

2. Click **Add New User** at the top right of the list.

3. Enter the new person's full name in **Member full name**.

4. Further down the form, choose **Generate and provide a 6-digit invitation code to the user**.

5. Enter the person's mobile number in **Mobile Number**, which now appears under that choice.

6. Click **Invite** at the bottom of the form. A message appears with a 6-digit code for the person.

7. Give the new person the 6-digit code shown in the middle of the message, face to face or in another secure way. Junify does not text the code to the person.

8. Click **Add More Members** in the message. The message closes and the form is cleared.
9. Open **User Directory** in the menu on the left again. The person you invited now appears in the list of members.
10. Open **Invitations** at the top of the page.

11. Find the invitation in the list. Its row shows the 6-digit code, with the person's mobile number below it.

The person then enters their mobile number and the 6-digit code in the Junify app on their phone to join.
