# Invite a member by email

Add a new person to Junify and email them an invitation, so they can join from the Junify app on their phone.

## When to use this

- When a new person joins your team and needs to start using Junify.
- When you are setting up Junify for the first time and want to bring your team in.

## Steps

1. Open **User Directory** in the menu on the left. The list of members appears.

2. Click **Add New User** at the top right of the list.

3. Enter the new person's full name in **Member full name**.

4. Further down the form, choose **Send QR code via work email**.

5. Enter the person's work email address in **Email Address**.

6. Click **Invite** at the bottom of the form. A message confirms that the invitation has been sent.

7. Click **Add More Members** in the message. The message closes and the form appears again.

8. Open **User Directory** in the menu on the left again. The person you invited now appears in the list of members.

9. Open **Invitations** at the top of the page.

10. Find the invitation you sent in the list.

The person then uses the email to join from the Junify app on their phone.
