# Add a work app to Junify

Add a work app to Junify and choose how members log in to it, so you can then give it to people with a card.

## When to use this

- When you set up Junify and want to add the apps your team works in.
- When you take over a new app account and want to manage it in Junify.
- When you decide which apps your team may use for work.

## Steps

1. Open **Applications** in the menu on the left.

2. Open **MANAGE APPLICATIONS** at the top of the page.

3. Click **add new application** at the top right.

4. The first time you open this page, an introduction to managing apps appears. Click **start** at the bottom right to continue.

5. Enter the name of the app in the search box at the top left.

6. Click the tile of the app in the results.

7. Choose **Username & Password** for how members log in to the app.

8. Click **install application** at the bottom right of the page. A message confirms that the app has been added.

9. To close the message and make a card for the app later, click **No, i will do it later**. The list of apps appears again.

10. Find the app you added in the list. Its row shows that it has no cards yet.

To give members the app, make a card for it and give it to them.

## Things to know

- The app's switches for recording, download and print control, places, and networks are defaults for each account that follows the app's settings. A single account can later be given its own setting.
- When download and print control is on for your whole organization, it applies even to an account that has its own setting.
