# Resend an expired invitation

Send an expired invitation again so that the person can still join your team.

## When to use this

- When a new person tells you their invitation expired before they could join.
- When you check the invitations before someone's first day and find one that has expired.

## Steps

1. Open **User Directory** in the menu on the left.

2. Open **Invitations** at the top of the page.

3. Click **Resend** in the row of the expired invitation.

4. Check in the list that the invitation was sent again. Its row no longer shows that it has expired.

The invitation is valid again for one more day, and a person you invited by email gets the email again.
