# Junify: hand off the work without handing over the password

> For employees, contractors, and outside teams: hand off the work without handing over the password.
>
> An admin adds each login to Junify. Team members confirm who they are on their phone, click to sign in, and never see the password. When people come and go or something goes wrong, you can show who did what, and when.

Team members need only the Junify phone app and browser extension. Their own computers work too.

## Is this how it works today?

Until recently, letting someone use an account meant giving them the password. There's another way now, yet this is still how it usually works.

- Shared by several people: **No record of who used it.** Ad accounts, job boards, company social media, admin logins. When something changes, you have to ask around to find out who did it.
- Lent out for a while: **Cutting someone off means a new password for everyone.** Temps, contractors, short-term help. When someone leaves, you change the password and send it out again. Forget to, and they can still get in.
- Owned by your clients: **A password you've shared can't be taken back.** BPO firms, agencies, and accounting and law firms. You can't show a client who used their account, or when.

## How it works: three steps

Before you start, an admin adds each login to Junify and assigns it to the people who may use it. Team members never get the password.

1. **Verify on your phone**: Scan the QR code on the computer screen with the Junify app on your own phone. That scan is how Junify knows it's you.
2. **Click a card to sign in**: Each account you may use appears as a card. Click it and Junify fills in the username and password. You never see them.
3. **Junify records who used it**: That includes shared logins. Session recording is optional and announced first; only that person and admins can watch it.

Setup is the phone app and the browser extension. Day to day, it's scan and click. How it works in detail: https://www.junify.com/product

## What changes once you use Junify

How your company handles the day someone asks, something goes wrong, someone leaves, or someone joins.

- **When a client or auditor asks**: You can answer "How do you manage account access?" on the spot. No one gets the password and every use is on record, so security questionnaires and audits work in your favor.
- **When something goes wrong**: You can report who used which account, and when, the same day. For accounts with recording, you can watch what they did on screen. The record is there to protect your team.
- **When someone leaves or changes roles**: No more changing the password and sending it around. Remove their cards and they can't sign in again. They never had the password in the first place.
- **When someone new joins**: They can start on day one without being told a password. Assign their cards and they just scan the QR code. Even on their own computer, no password or browsing history stays behind.
